Our story
Rosa is a native of Lake Charles, LA. After working so many years in her family business as a mortician one day, a local flower shop was delivering a casket spray. The family arrived for their viewing and when they saw the casket spray even though their hearts were broken, for a second they were in awe of how beautifully everything had come together. Typically, casket sprays are used to soften the lines of the casket, but it also had softened their hearts. She realized the complexities of life. In that moment she realized not only did she want to celebrate life as it once was, but also how it is as well.
Rosa is a member of the Junior League of Lake Charles, Inc. and the National Association of University Women. She enjoys playing tennis, traveling and spending time with her husband their two children. She is also a Mortician, where she also works in the funeral service industry.

Rosa’s Floral aims to be a light creating innovative floral designs that bring love and joy into our homes, businesses and celebrations. Flowers have held space in our lives’ most precious moments for all of human history.
